Foam Rubber Nightstick Movie Prop

This is a costume lightweight foam rubber fake police baton replica prop. Not intended to be used with blunt force. Used for Actor Safety and costume wear. Side-handle batons (sometimes referred to as T-batons or nightsticks) are batons with a short side handle at a right angle to the shaft, about six inches from one end. The main shaft is about 23 inches long. They are derived from the tonfa, an Okinawan kobuda weapon, and are used with a similar technique (although tonfa are usually used in pairs, whereas side-handle batons are not). The best-known example is the Monadnock PR-24, which has become a generic trademark weapon within the law enforcement and security communities for this type of product.

This one piece replica prop is made from flexible urethane foam and is finished in semi-gloss black. It features a solid aluminum armature inside which helps it stay rigid when in use.
